The Sacred Grove

On Sunday morning we visited the sacred grove, located near the log home from where the prophet walk to commune with God. The place was peaceful and I am not surprised anyone would choose this place as the place to be away from the world. The best feeling was to know that within those trees stood God the father and Jesus, and that place, those trees, and those rocks were witnesses of it. Many more had been witnesses of it, even though they were not present at the time of the first vision. How to deny such strong feeling that came as we walked the paths of the grove. Every bench was taken by someone either reading, pondering, or praying. We sat down at a log along the path, and as a family offered our humble prayer to him that one day stood in that place. This was for me the highlight of our trip, a place where every member of the church should go one day.
