The kids and I packed up for our last trip to Star Valley to visit Amber's family. We stopped at Echo Reservoir just off I-80. That's our usual rest stop just before Evanston. It's a nice place to stretch your legs and the kids like to look for boats. From the moment we pulled up to Amber's house, the kids were outside having a blast with all that 'country fun' that makes city moms nervous....like horseback riding, mini motorcycles, trampolines, riding in old cars that don't have seatbelts! Best of all was spending time with their cousins Sam, Walter, and Emily. It was Emily's birthday and she requested a donut cake. We drove around the valley and visited Mom's grave in Auburn. It was a fun trip.
